Sound only on loudspeaker.

I gave my iPhone 5 in for repair to sort the lock button. I have now noticed that on the fixed phone that I cannot hear anything when making a call through normal speaker. However when on loudspeaker I can hear the other person.

Has anyone experienced this before?

The ribbon they replaced it with was defective. Have them swap it for a new make sure same ribbon controls the volume rocker.
