Just interested to see what people have there vibrate switch on? Sound or Silent?

I generally have mine on silent all the time!

Do you have yours silent at work/school and then turn it back to sound when you come home?

With every phone I've ever had I've generally kept them on silent but vibrate most of the time, just if I'm expecting an urgent call or something then I'll put it on sound.

Mostly on ring, but I do use vibrate depending on where I'm at. I usually can't feel the phone vibrate in my pocket. When I had a cheap flip phone it was almost always on vibrate since I carried it on a belt clip.

I keep it turned off completely because of something that happened once.
It was in my pocket and I was resting my head in my hand while sitting. Well, it turns out my elbow was RIGHT on the home button. So Voice Control popped up and started to play music.

...Damn you, Voice Control.

So the switch flick will go between sound and silent? I never use the silent feature but use the vibrate. Is there a setting to make it sound/vibrate or it is silent only?

My phone is on vibrate 95% of the time. Only time to have it off is when we have company at our place, such as today, so I don't miss a call or text.

My phone is mostly on vibrate. I only turn on the ringer when I am away from my phone (like its in another room or something). I also keep it on vibrate at school.

Its annoying to hear the text tones every few minutes imo.

Always on silent/vibrate except on the off chance that I'm expecting an important text from someone (e.g. emergencies).
