I'm a forum noob so I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct space =)

I seem to have an issue with my sound, if i'm listening to my iTunes, playing a game (WoW) Talking on Ventrilo or whatever. My inbound or Outbound sound will go all scratchy. If I restart the program it is affecting it will stop and be fine for a while. I often use all 3 programs at once but this doesn't seem to be the cause. If I only have iTunes running it will happen just as frequent =(

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Thanks!

Kelly

Don't know if it is the same as your problem, but early in iTunes history when I had any ehancements (Equalization or Normalization) turned on, the sound would get worse over time, some sort of bug in the compression/expansion software. Turning off all effects and EQ fixed it for me.

Even if my Itunes isn't running? I used those programs as examples because it's what I use the most. But even if i'm watching a video on youtube this will happen with nothing else running.
