I feel like this demonstration doesn't really help much. When I listen directly (speakers -> ears), the speakers sound a lot clearer than listening indirectly (speakers -> mic -> file -> speakers -> ears) because of distortion and quality loss.

A relative comparison is helpful though, i.e. compare 2015 speakers with the new one using the same method.

Unfortunately, I don't nave a 2015 model. I wasn't trying to get overly technical here. I just wanted to give people a little audio sample of how good the model MacBook Pro sounds. I realize it isn't much.

Really, guess they want you to buy them lunch also :) I'm very impressed with the screen and speakers on mine.

I had, the last summer, both 13" MBP, the 2015 one, and the 2017 nTB, and I did a lot of comparisons between them. Well, regarding sound quality of the speakers, the difference between the two models was spectacular. The new MacBook Pro has a great sound when its using the speakers.
