Hello everyone,

I'm entering a video contest and one rule prohibits the use of copyrighted music. My question is wheter or not this includes library audio clips provided in Soundtrack Pro.

Thanks!

Nope there royality free which means there no copywrite on them.

Incorrect.
They are copyrighted, and you are permitted to use them in projects under the terms of the license, without paying a royalty.

You may not however, resell them or copy and distribute them as a product.

Royalty-Free does not mean copyright-free or public-domain

So Soundtrack has licensed the music?
From what I have read, when you download your music it is for personal use only. And that when you post it for others to hear, you are infringing on this copyright.
Can you elaborate. I am working on a project as we speak and we want to allow our users to post photos and songs to facebook.
