Whats up my South Floridians Just wanted to make a specific thread for everyone down here that plans on going early to the apple store or any store to grab the 7 or 7 plus (Without Reservations). Post the store you plan on going to with the phone you want and any tips or information you have that can help each other out.

Aventura Mall Apple Store (Having second thoughts though since the rumors of limited/no stock)
iPhone 7 plus matte black 128gb

I heard none of the stores are expected to have any Jet Blacks at all :(
Yea i heard the same thing but honestly its hard to tell whats the truth or not when it comes to the launch of new iPhones i been at every launch day release since the iPhone 4 at different stores and a lot of what i heard prior was false but some are true so your best bet is to just go yourself cause you never really know

I live in Delray... Ordered a jet black plus att 256gb for Sept. 26 delivery. The girlfriend ordered a rose gold 128 plus and hers is coming this Friday. I'm away in Vegas this week but arrive back in Florida this Friday morning around 7am... So we'll try a few att and maybe the Boca Apple Store on the way home from the airport to see if there is any luck for a jet black.

Have a good feeling we won't see many jet blacks at all for another week or two so I'm not really getting my hopes up. I don't think many stores are getting any at all even.

Yup lol. I got my preorder in like a minute before they opened so hopefully I'll get my phone on Friday but I'm extremely doubtful of that since i ordered a jet black 7+ in 256 gb. I really don't want to go to an apple store or att store...I'm in miami and we're rated the #1 rudest city for a reason lmao. I dont even want to deal with lines and people ill just wait and go into hiding until i get it

One thing I know for sure the most sought out one is always the hardest to get and that's no rumor. Good luck to you

Early on in the iPhone life cycle, waiting in line at ATT Aventura by Olympia Fitness or the Apple Store when it was upstairs by food court in the Aventura Mall was actually a decent experience.

Everyone was chill and just excited about getting the newest flagship product.

As the phone has gotten more popular and douchebags consider it a status symbol, things turned ugly and rude for the lines that grew and grew and grew, year after year.

I'm glad Apple does a more robust online preorder nowadays.

I've never tried waiting at Alton Road Apple Store in the past, but it seems like it'd be easier to line up at than the Aventura Mall since people seem to crowd the mall entrance in a little chaos before security gets it in check. Alton Road is a strip mall store with the doors right on the sidewalk so there's no question where the line starts.

Dadeland Mall Apple Store my homie is Security will let me in Mall at 7:50 am get in early No lines allowed on Mall property so it's a first come first serve.

Aventura Mall is a joke.

Best bet is South Beach Giant new store but there's 100 people camped out on Lincoln Road already.

Oh got it. I'll just leave a IPhone 7 box next to a new Michael Kors handbag ontop of a pair of Diesel Jeans, I call it the Brazilian trap. That's all they ever want.

Venezuela is in bad shape. Any Venezuelan tourists buying high end to middle retail is Super Rich back home. You can always spot the Tourists they are the ones with 10 Giant Bags from shopping something they would never do back in Venezuela or Brazil or Colombia or they would get robbed here they don't care. I did retail at Bloomingdales years ago. I could spot them a mile away.

Same lol..ive worked for 3 diff clothing retail stores in the past and they always pay in cash lmao.

The government and banks restrict their CC use to $400 per day. I believe.
Yep thats why they use cash for the remainder..i think they let them take out like 10k in cash...i dont remember the exact amount and my information is outdated lol ive been out of retail for years.

That's why they go to the country next door and open a bank account there I know Argentinian do this and the country limits them to $400 a day. One of my customers was a top state attorney and she always knew all the tricks. And they usually come with 4 empty suitcases. They just shop and dress as needed. Germans taught me that one. So that way it's not suspicious all thAt extra clothing. Oh and all tags need to be removed because it's too obvious. Most share the same tricks.

Best is seeing a chick drop $5k cash at the Apple Store rich tourist or spreading that Miami coke money. Look flashy and Colombian so definitely drug money IMO.

In Aventura they don't even bring suitcases. They just buy them in the mall. Lol.

What a game.
Very true they literally come with the clothes on their backs. Miami really is taking a beating now that Brazil's economy is junk. The US dollar exchange rate use to be 2 to 1 now it's 4 or 5 to 1, and they just don't spend or come is as many numbers anymore. Not in retail anymore but I remeber it well.

Same for Venezuela and Argentina
