Sow iMac 27" Shutdown

Anyone experiencing a slow shutdown of their iMac? I've only had this for a few weeks. My MacBook Pro 15 shutdown almost instantly. I thought my iMac was doing the same until recently.

Now it takes 10 to 15 minutes to shut down. That ain't right, right?

Parallels might be to blame...

Hi Guardsix,

I had the same issue on both iMac and MBP. Turned out to be an old version of Parallels that was clogging the system. I followed these instructions... https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4137486?start=15&tstart=0 and have had no problems since.
