SP2 Update Disk?

    I have a 2002 version of Windows XP, which does not come preloaded with any service pack updates. Without those updates, I can't download the Mac drivers disk, which means I can't use the airport card so I can't connect online to get the updaes from the web. Anyone knows of what I can do?

    That won't work. The XP SP2 installer (which comes on that CD) fails with an error about insufficient disk space. See this old thread for more details:

    I just ran into this problem last night.

    Your best bet is to create a slipstreamed XP SP2 installation disk as exlained on this page:

    OK, I just found this awesome program:

    nLite. It will automatically do it all for you. It asks you to select the windows cd, then select the SP2 .exe, and it slipstreams it for you. It even created a .iso for me to burn on OSX since my windows laptop doesn't have a cd writer.
