Space gray guy owners - favorite band/color look? Pic if possible!

Guy owners of space gray, please show me your absolute favorite combo. Got my son a 44mm space gray SE for Christmas, and want to pick him up a couple bands. I just want to see what bands and colors yall think look best.

Everything goes with Space Gray. It’s a neutral. Only thing you need to be concerned about is if you’re getting metal bands.

So you don’t have a particular favorite look? I just wanted to see some to get an idea of what I think looks best together, so I’d know what to get him. I got him a vintage looking brown leather band with the black hardware. I think the brown looks sharp with the space gray. I just wanted to see some of the guys’ favorites.

If you’re going for a dressed up look leather looks sharp. If it were me I’d get him the watch then let him choose what band(s) he likes and then gift what he chooses. But I’m a super picky about what I wear.

Nice. His SE has the charcoal gray sport loop I think, but I was gonna get him a couple others to put in his stocking. Forever my baby boy, even at 25. ;-p

Midnight Turquoise/Aurora Green

I also like the more subtle (some might say "plain" Surf Blue & Anchor Gray sport loops). Think I have five sport loops & five sport bands, and all of them look great with Space Gray.

What are his favorite colors or colors that you like on him? Agree with @JBaby Space Gray goes well with everything. Personally speaking I am a sucker for all things blue. Surf Blue loop, Cape Cod Loop, Deep Navy Loop and Sport Band, are a few favorites that come to mind. There are so many Blues in Loops and Sport Bands and all of them are great. Delft, Blue Horizon, Deep Navy are some of my preferred blues in sport bands. Also like the current Charcoal Sport loop option. Another gem in my opinion is Vitamin C. The splash of orange on the sides is a nice contrast with the coastal gray which is a putty like color. Vitamin C and Surf Blue I wore all summer.

Once you figure out which hole he wears the sport band on, consider a solo sport loop. They are quite comfortable.

If you really want to get him something special leather wise, consider one from FFF. I have a few of their leather bands and they are unique, comfortable and can be personalized. A little pricy but you get lifetime customer service if you need it. I've used it and they were absolutely fantastic. Replacement for a stretched band, mailed out the same day they responded with email. Which I believe was literally the same day I sent it to them. Great people to deal with. The one I really like is the Russet Natural Espresso. It looks fantastic with Space Gray.

Honestly, he’d probably go for blue, but he tends to like black, red, dark grays, browns, dark greens. So far I have him a little variety, and nothing super exciting.

The charcoal sport loop came with the watch.
Midnight Blue sport band I picked up from eBay
Black nylon buckle I picked up from eBay (one of MY personal favorite bands - love the nylon buckles)
Knock-off vintage leather I got from Amazon that actually looks pretty good

I like that this will pretty much give him one of several different types of bands to try and see what he likes, plus it’s a little color variety - not much. I’d still love to pick up a dark green sport band of some sort.

I’ve been having a lot of trouble searching eBay lately. So much crap comes up that doesn’t match what I put in the search bar at all - it’s weird.

I have the S4 Nike Watch with the black perforated band. I added the black and brown versions of the band pictured, I found them on Etsy.

If you can find an Indigo Sport loop from a few years ago, I highly recommend it. One of my favorites. It has blue reddish, and white in the design but as you look at it from a distance, it looks well, Indigo. The new Plum Sport Loop is very nice. It's very similar to maroon.

I have about 15 bands and rotate through them daily or several times per week as I usually pick a band to match my outfit. My favorites are probably Product Red, Midnight Navy, Pine Green (looks nice with the green iPhone 11 Pro), a brown one I got off Amazon, and of course black.

I like the Anchor Grey sport loop... Goes great with the SB. I saw then 50% off at Best Buy yesterday too.
