Space Gray or Silver // M1 Pro and M1 Max MacBooks!

Easy silver. Classic color, more contrast to keyboard and apple logo, less popular in public
Silver holds up better with wear imo. Doesn't take much of a scuff for the shiny silver to show through the space gray from my experience in the past.
This is literally me (and I'm sure a lot of other people).So which one did you pick?
After having a Silver MBP 2015 for 6 years, I ordered a 14" M1 Pro in Space Gray. Still don't know which one I prefer
Have had silver macbooks my entire life so decided to go space gray for a change.
I've been space gray since 2016 but I think I'm going back to silver. The metal connector on the MagSafe is silver but also Apple doesn't seem to want to do any space gray accessories and I'd prefer my stuff to match as much as possible.
I was so busy agonising over chip specs that I didn't even notice which colour I'd bought until later. Seems I have space grey, which is nice. Would be equally happy with either tbf.
I've gone silver after being space grey for the last 6 years. Looking forward to the change - and the only thing that doesn't match is my desk stand, which I can live with.

I like space gray but I went with silver this time. There are areas to the left & right side of the trackpad on my space gray 16" MacBook Pro that have worn off. It's hard to photograph here but it's more noticeable in person:
It's where I rest my hand & wrists. So weird! In certain lighting conditions it looks dirty except you can't clean it off. I've tried. I never experienced this when I had the classic silver MacBook Pros.
Not planning to upgrade until the M2 Max comes out, but when I do I think I’m leaning towards Silver.
yikes! That looks bad, I just ordered a silver instead, shame that I won't be able to get it on launch day...
Just for kicks I took a quick pic with my Sony mirrorless which I think better shows the fading space gray. Eek!
I got the 16" in mid-Nov. 2019 so this is under 2 years. I wonder if it's the combination of the sweat from my hands & the heat this sucker puts off.
Silver all the way for me. Clean and classic. My 2016 Space Grey MBP showed more scratches and blemishes from the coating in a month than my 2012 Silver MBP did in the three years that I owned it.
That was actually the only easy decision I made during the ordering process.

Decided to go with Space Gray. It looks classier. It has that stealthy look and very noticeable. I also have an Apple Magic Mouse which is also black. So it matches up nicely.
I feel like you can see the dirt and dust around the silver very well. It’s very noticeable. Especially around the MagSafe area. It’s hard to remove them.
However both of the Mac’s are nice! Congrats y’all!

I’ve finally canceled my 14” Space Gray for the Silver, won’t be getting it on launch day (arriving between 11-17 Nov) but I think silver looks timeless and contrast with the blacked out keyboard in this machine looks pretty nice. Also Apple logo on the screen is black, much nicer than the shiny silver from last Macbooks.
I think it looks even nicer that classic retina Macbook Pros from 2012-2015 era, maybe is the throwback to the Powerbook G4 chasis
Also, I heard that the MagSafe 3 connector is silver even on the space gray model, that would be annoying for me haha.
