I am trying to decide if I should buy a Space Gray or Space Black Apple Watch. I like both and theres a pretty big difference in price. My wrists are on the smaller side but I think I can pull off the 42mm.

Thoughts?

I just received my SpaceBlack with SpaceBlack link bracelet and it is simple stunning. Fit and finish is fantastic and it really works great. The grey looks good but to me the black is simply the best except I had to wait so long for it to arrive. No regrets now. :p

I have the space black. I also have baby wrists lol. 42mm looks perfectly at home. Had to remove 6 links.

I have the space black and dare I say it... But to me it is worth the money! I was very hesitant spending that much on the Apple watch as I was deciding between the space grey as well. But now having the space black all doubts flew out the window. The quality of this watch surpassed my expectations. You should see the faces of people I show the link band to when I undo the links myself :p

And when I slap my black sports band on it looks really great with the shiny black body. Plus the added weight makes it feel like a more premium product. But honestly you can't go wrong either way. Both are really great in their own right!

I haven't seen any in person but I'd rather have space black. I have space gray on order because it was cheaper and it's a first gen. If they offered a space black with sport band I would probably get it.

I ordered the space grey. I say try them on in the store if possible. As all versions do the same thing. It doesn't make sense to me to pay more than base.

Order both? Keep the one that arrives first, or... if they arrive at roughly the same time, keep the one that you like better.

They are both very handsome watches. The Space Black is simply stunning (especially for a smart watch) and the price isn't that crazy for a DLC sapphire watch. The Space Grey too, is very versatile and sleek and allows for a certain comfort level, as it wasn't a huge investment, you would also have plenty of cash leftover for Gen 2 if that's your thing ;).

When I first thought of buying the watch the SB was at the top of my list. When I saw them in the Apple Store the SG became my favorite no matter what the price. It's a personal preference but I like the matte finish of the SG and surprisingly the SS has moved into second.

I have both:

The space grey is lighter, the taptic engine is more forceful or at least easier
to feel.

they both look great

Not sure which one I am going to keep

I wear them both with sports bands, the space grey is definitely more comfortable. I don't even realize I am wearing it.

Damn dude, what's your wrist circumference for curiosity sake?

I don't even realize I am wearing it.

I don't have another watch to compare to but I also don't realize I'm where the sport it's so comfortable and light. And that's exactly want I wanted so I'm extremely happy.

Nearest Apple Store is 120 miles away. Not wasting all that gas to go look at a watch. I think the main thing is how much more durable is the sapphire display compared to the ION-X Display? Would I need a screen protector for the sport model?
