Finally delivered! SG 42. I noticed The animated emojis u can make show up on the iphone about the same size as the regular ones and are still animated. Nice

At what time was your email from Apple? Also shipping window and where ate you at? Sorry I'm looking for any sign of hope#
BTW, congrats and enjoy!

Yup. Super unprepared.

I can't believe  would let something like this happen. I mean I don't mind waiting but this is just a mess things are allover the darn place. If they just come forward and put out a real statement and apologize, I can totally handle that and wait patiently. SMH

Not sure if this means anything, but the £1 apple had taken off my card has just been refunded...I'm in the UK and ordered space grey 42mm at 8.04

Ordered mine 4/10/15 at 3:08
42mmnSpace Gray aluminum case with Black Sports Band
Ship 4-6 weeks
Deliver May 13 - may 27th

No change on statues :(

It doesn't seem to be too long. Unless they wait for them to arrive in Louisville which is another 5 hours or so.

What I'm seeing:

UPS109 from Narita/Tokyo to Anchorage arriving 3:23PM EDT
UPS99 from Incheon/Seoul to Anchorage arriving 4:29PM EDT
UPS63 from Hong Kong to Anchorage arriving 4:42PM EDT
UPS61 from Taiwan to Anchorage arriving 5:08PM EDT
UPS81 from Shanghai to Anchorage arriving 5:11PM EDT
UPS77 from Shenzhen to Anchorage arriving 5:20PM EDT
UPS59 from Hong Kong to Anchorage arriving 6:43PM EDT

Most of these planes will head directly to Louisville about 3 hours later.

These delivery windows are the new "cable technician 8am-3pm appointments." Apple is basically saying you should have the product in half a month. That's an acceptable time frame when you haven't entered it. However, when you're on the first day of said time frame and there's no update to your order and very little communication (EOD), it can be a little frustrating. I feel sorry for the June orders. That's potentially a whole month of waiting.

Long wait

I really am hoping I'm wrong but I placed my order at 08:03 (UK time went on sale at 08:00) The store couldn't be accessed initially so I was pretty quick off the mark. Confirmation email for 42mm Space Grey at 08:04:13 with a date of 24/4 - 08/05 a friend of mine was 1 min after and got 4-6 weeks. The initial orders would have been in the first hour. The ones that have gone out today seem to have covered the first 2 mins of orders, with the production dates mainly seeming to be in April, by that logic (and I really don't want to be right) Its gonna be into may before we get our watches as they still have to be made. If every 2 mins of orders adds 2 weeks onto delivery estimates than this seems pretty logical. I really do want to be wrong as I had a face like a wet weekend all day.

Thing is, UPS/FedEx have planes every day, and not all of them have Apple thingies on them. Remember that factories have to make the thingies, and if there are none ready to ship, the planes won't have any.

Also, it seems like Apple is, for the launch anyway, shipping watches from stateside depots; I haven't yet seen any tracking info from Asia. So that means it's pretty opaque to us when the watches are actually coming stateside. None of the boxes on the plane have your address on them yet, especially if you're not charged yet.

Breathe.... breathe.

I agree. This is not like the iPhone where they all come from Shenzen and one can correlate the Flightaware info with the UPS tracking info for your order. I'm not even sure why people are looking at flights this time. For all we know, the U.S. orders were all shipped from stateside warehouses, those warehouses are now empty waiting for the next batch of watches to come from the various factories.

Let's Clear something here

For the 20th time on this thread by everyone, if confused please re read the replies to this okay lol moving on just got off the phone speaking with management about this, APPLE WATCHES WILL BE DELIVERED ON SATURDAY, I REPEAT APPLE WATCHES WILL BE DELIVERED ON SATURDAY, spread this like wild fire. All orders have next day air, yes yes I know it says standard shipping on order status or whatever but they do aka meaning anything that comes into tonight can and will be shipped out on Saturday. Apple has an agreement with UPS on this.

Hope you're right.

Ya i'm thinking that is the likely outcome. During the 2 weeks before preorder after the conference they shipped to local distribution centers - now those same centers are completely depleted. Now the watches will ship straight from China.

If you were paying attention, all of the UPS flights entered the country in anchorage. They then headed to Louisville for distribution.

Why should Apple apologize? We got a two week window for delivery. This is only day one. If those of us with the first window haven't received our orders by May 10 - THEN Apple has something for which to apologize.

We will find out soon enough if that is the case. If there is a large wave once again (later this evening) then we can assume they are regularly receiving them in. If there is no wave (or a small wave) we can assume that they many of the orders were stateside previously and now we are into the steady stream rather than the initial gush.

It's a chat rep, so take it with a tablespoon of salt, but:

same thing is happening with my fiances, her watch is "Out For Delivery" but the charge fell off as of last night. I expect to be charged again for it soon but its just weird because a charge is usually our first sign of shipping and I've never seen it reverse after shipping.

My Watch is doing the same thing. No delivery yet, but the charge fell off last night and it is Out for Delivery. Weird. I figure Apple will come back and charge for it later today or Monday.

ZERO Apple Watches have shipped via FedEx. ALL watches are coming UPS as they are the exclusive for the watch. FedEx is ONLY delivering watch accessories.

...Today

I have NO idea how it's going to come.
Mine is preparing for shipment, and I would expect to get tracking at some point tonight... hopefully.

I guess we'll know then more of what to expect.

Based on what I've seen, my estimate is that the line for space grey sports 42 mm is moving at about 10 second increments per day. That is, all orders confirmed between 12:03:40-12:03:50 are processing today. Tomorrow it'll be orders confirmed between 12:03:50 and 12:04:00 and so on.

I say this because at this time yesterday, someone whose confirmation came through at 12:03:30 was JUST getting charged. This morning, someone whose confirmation came through at 12:03.40 was JUST getting charged. Unless there's some magical surge in production, I don't think it's going to speed up. My order was confirmed at 12:04:38... so I might not get my watch until mid to end of next week, which sort of makes sense considering that I had a 4/24-5/8 window and someone who received confirmation at 12:04:45 had a mid-May window. Mid-May confirmation people will get their watches early but probably not until late next week.

If you're in the 12:05:xx to 12:10:xx and above range, relax because you've got a long wait ahead of you and you shouldn't even be wasting your time refreshing your order page and getting anxious.
