Holy crap, you're right!

Looks like another PA for me too. I'd watch out for flights from Anchorage to PA as well as flights from Memphis to PA maybe? Thanks for posting this, I'm glad that my Apple Watch actually exists!

My guy literally just said they're all coming over from China.
There is no way they know what they are talking about...

Update on my quest for a larger band.

I ended up putting a two more holes into the band. Worked perfectly. Seeing it wont slide under and close now, Ill just have to be careful for a while.

Ordering this now... which goes up to a 10 1/2 inch wrist!!! SHEESH!

i'm a 20cm wrist size, so i might/might not have to do this. apple says the watch fits up to 21cm. but who knows. it worries me that i might not be able to slide the strap into the opening for security. aren't you worried that the little buckle will just unbuckle and your watch will fall off? how secure is that little knob buckle thing when placed through the strap hole?

Well when I asked, that's what I figured. But the fact that she actually gave me a specific location makes me thinks that she knows something.

I mean I'm sure they do all originally come from China. But maybe Apple is just shipping them all to warehouses around the country before giving us a tracking number from said warehouse to your homes. I have yet to see someone have a tracking number show Chinese origin unless I missed something.

You're probably right. My point was just that "who knows, when it comes to the live chat"

Ordered my son's 42mm at 12:14pm (I'm in AZ). Still processing with 5/8/ - 5/13 as the date! I ordered mine first at 12:10pm (38mm white) (the order was simply by how they show up on the website and I needed to ship to separate locations) and it is due any ol' time UPS decides to show up.

having worked in a call center environment before, i can tell you that there's all sorts of misinformation being passed around in the lunch room. someone heard someone say something and took it as fact, and then passed it on to other and now all agents think it's true.

This is a nice band... I am looking forward to the 'improvements' on the current band offerings, because of all the parts, it is what impressed me least. Mine is 38mm white and the band is WHITE and really WIDE for a thin wrist.

BTW, how big is your wrist that the band and ½ that ships with the watch didn't fit?

I'm getting a curious result from the UPS tracking page and wondering if anyone else can replicate.

Go to tracking, select Mail Innovations, enter phone number 10 digits no spaces or dashes. Leave default dates.

Then click the track button repeatedly. For me, after 3 - 20 clicks I eventually get a result of one package, but no shipping number yet.

I'm not sure if this is a glitch or if something is really there.

This sounds like the bug that was happening on that page about a week ago. Don't trust what you see on the UPS tracker. It's not very reliable without a tracking number.

SHIPPED! :D

I'm in the 3:46 emailed order confirmation and still nothing... I'm really getting disappointed with this experience honestly. I never received the EOD or anything. I did receive the one i purchased for my wife today White Sport..

Just got shipment confirmation from getting charged this morning. Looks like Monday, but UPS tracking hasn't updated yet. So probably no Saturday deliveries.

Just got an email from Apple saying my watch will be here on the 27th. No idea what UPS thinks they're delivering to me today from Apple, but apparently it's on the truck out for delivery...

You're probably right. My point was just that "who knows, when it comes to the live chat"

What Apple does is called cross-docking*. Basically, all the units are individually boxed for shipment in China with the appropriate address label, and put on pallets designated for a particular UPS (or other carrier) hub, where they can get to the individual address overnight by truck. When the pallet arrives at say the UPS Philadelphia hub, the pallet is broken down and the individual boxes scanned and sent out on trucks for next day delivery. My watch (not SG, I responded because my son's is) is arriving today; the shipping notice came yesterday about 2pm. It came into Ontario, CA yesterday, was in Phoenix at 6am (6 hours by truck) and in Prescott (100 miles north of Phoenix) this morning at 8:30am, to go out on the truck. Apple is shipping out UPS red probably partly because of being short on time and partly because the shorter the time and distance they are in route, the less the opportunity for theft.

*because the shipment literally comes in one dock door, and ships out another dock door the same day.

It's called logistics!;)
