Its pretty clear that location and seconds mean nothing. Look at how random the times and locations are. Ive seen many on the east coast with times before and after mine with freaking tracking info already but yet here i am with this info

42mm SGS
Lansdale, PA
xx:04:10
CC not charged
Still Processing

AND NO MOVEMENT WHATS SO EVER! There are people with xx:03 and not even charged yet with the same model. How is this even possible. This tells me this is random but in most cases mins count but there are few cases where mins don't even matter and in MOST seconds and location mean nothing!

I work for UPS. If you haven't already requested the will call then your package is secure and the counter person will not have access

Can you confirm that I cannot pick up mine because "Apple didn't pay extra for Saturday delivery?" Because that's what the customer service woman from UPS told me.

Apple que is on their 24 hour clock .... Time stamp on email is not what apple has....trust me .... I've been over that with them couple of times

With that said if your right then this thread is a waste of time unfortunately. bunch of people relying of email times and the people getting charged and shipped watches are random as hell

I'd be curious to know if anyone who ordered through the website has had delivery (website wasnt up even after submitting my order at 12:03).

SG 42, still processing, no charge..... :(

:04 42mm prepared last evening (late), shipped this morning with tracking (Elk Grove), invoice this morning and finally watch in support profile. This all happened quickly.
Halifax, Canada

Believe what you need to. Personally, I'll take the word of somebody on Tim Cook's executive response team over some of the speculations I've seen on here.

I don't need to believe anything. Fulfillment has been very predictable for the vast majority. The earliest confirmation times shipped first and progressed from there with some variation due to location. That's not speculation.

dang..another day
42 mm Space Gray Sport
Email Conf. 12:04:11
Recieved EOD
4/24-5/8 ship date window
Still processing....

Sacramento ca
-as always, thank you all for updated info

Wow- i ordered the exact same watch at 12:04:13 and mine is preparing to ship. Im in sac too and received the eod wed.

Apple is definitly not going in any FIFO method, which makes me mad.

Ups reps know nothing, lol. Apple had contracted with UPS to get these watches in our hands as fast as possible. That would include Saturday delivery.

Also, not all UPS customer centers are even open Saturday. In which case, you could not will call it for pickup.

38mm SGS still processing, no movement...ordered 12:04:28, coming to Temecula, CA (So Cal) although I was charged last night I don't fully know if that was for the dropped off charge for my already delivered White Sport watch or it was my SGS..doubt the SGS, probably the former.

Me too. In Dallas/Fort Worth area. Unless there's just a lot less people on here from mid America I haven't seen crap for our area!!! I'm finally starting to get a little pi$$ed off myself.
42mm SG
02:04:08 CDT
EOD

Yes Austin TX home of the Mac Pro is getting no Space Gray love tonight. Guess we aren't on Angela's VIP list.

Something is going on with the midwest...I wonder if there will be a big wave of east coast charges later tonight when the jets land or tomorrow evening for Monday delivery...

It's the West Coast Liberal war on the "real America", no doubt ;)

I appreciate the additional information you probably have because of your work at UPS, but there is no way what you are claiming about email confirmations is accurate. There is way too much evidence showing the progress of orders shipping in line with delivery of confirmation emails for that time stamp to not matter at all. With a few exceptions, it has progressed almost perfectly. And it's been far more predictable than the sporadic and conflicting responses from Apple representatives.

It's fair to assume that the sequences are pretty close to each other, even if the order didn't actually hit their system at that exact time. The only thing that matters is the relative sequence, not the exact time when it would have hit any particular system.

My local UPS customer center has my watch! I looked online and saw that they're open from 10 to 1 for "will call" packages. I tweeted UPS to see if I could pick it up and they said that you can only do that if you requested it the day before--dangit. Thinking about going there anyway and seeing if I can get lucky. Dumb idea?

Okay so everyone was right, I couldn't get it. But I did have a nice Saturday morning drive, and it wasn't a complete waste--the guy there said I could pick it up as early as 8AM on Monday, despite the website saying 8:30. So I won't be late for work! But I have to wait some more. Oh well.

Finally, at least some positive thinking instead of all the bellyaching ;)

Yeah I'm pretty sure the time of the confirmation email is pretty meaningless, and the add-to-cart time is probably what matters.

Think about it... when you added it to your cart, you were "promised" a delivery schedule. If it sat there in your cart for a few seconds longer, changing that delivery schedule would be pretty unfair.

I think this is why, even though I have a xx:04:10 confirmation email time, others "after" me are getting shipped; I was pretty quick from cart to checkout with Apple Pay, and some of them probably added to their cart earlier, but finalized checkout after me.

On top of that, you have various depots around the country which are getting stock at different intervals, so it's pretty likely someone truly after you will get theirs before if they live in a lucky place.

It's all kinda fun to reverse-engineer the logistics of it all, but in the end, you kinda have to accept the fact that none of us really understands the process.

No... Actually my time from Apple was 4 sec sooner than I got the email stamp.
You can hit the chat button on your order page and ask cs to give you your time order was received by apple....n
Mind you it's gonna be based on the 24 hour clock and it will be in
Min:sec....example they told me 4:18 which would be 00:04:18 pdt
I had email of 03:04:22edt

Yeah makes sense. I just have to stay off this forum and be patient lol. This kinda irritates u when u look at it by the logic that these email times are accurate when there pointless to even post on here. I got the 4/24-5/08 date so I just need to go by that and stop seeing all these people getting there's before me

My credit card was charged this morning. No status change yet (still shows processing)
I ordered a 38mm SG black sports band. 12:01AM

How do u even get the actual time? I can't find how to live chat with apple unless u have a serial number lol.

There are hundreds of examples of confirmation times matching up with shipping times right on these forums. The evidence is there. The time you add to cart does not matter in the least. Plenty of people had one date in their cart and a different one after submitting the order.

Mine finally charged and shipped this morning with Monday delivery. 3:03 email confirmation.

Nope, I know this isn't the case.

There are several people, with various band configurations (incl. SG 42) placed after 00:04:30 that were pushed to the second wave window in the confirm email, after placing the order while still in the "first" wave. This wasn't an isolated event, could probably make an entire thread for all the people who this happened to.

Anyway just got my tracking number. Hold on 00:04:30+ and 00:05:00 crew, it's coming, i'm sprinkling watch dust on you all. I won't be a douchbag and say calm down; I know where the angst comes from, keep the fires burning. I went from being very angry yesterday to just being happy that my order was moving; I know you'll feel the same.

Ah ok, that's interesting data that I hadn't heard before.
