Why does it seem we're not getting updates when it appears that everyone else already has moved on to prepared to shipment over 24 hours ago?

I know we'll probably see a change within the next day and all be layign with out new toys Friday, but I will sure as hell be pissed if I stayed up to order it at midnight exactly and not get it Friday because of some stupid logistical issue or stupid glitch.
