I'm a xx.06.20. Hoping to see some action in the next day or two. No more flights coming into Louisville until tonight. Right now flights are coming from China into anchoridge, where they will then be sent to Louisville. Dissapointed at last nights bunch, not much. Hoping tonight's the night :)

How do you check the exact time of when the order was placed?

I was charged around 4:30am EDT but my order status still says processing items...

Anyone knows how long until it changes to 'preparing for shipment'?

Mine was within minutes... I think, like everything else, no rhime or reason.

My suspicion is that they were not going to do Saturday delivery anyway so they don't need to rush the distribution from last nights flights. I figure they will get tonights and maybe even tomorrows flights and then do a huge push on Sunday for Monday deliveries. I could also be just hoping my order will be swept up in it. ;)

Find your confirmation email and forward it to yourself. It'll show your order time right down to the second

Ok I just did that and it says 3:07:09 but when I called apple they said mine went through at 7:05. Would that just be the time zone diff?

So I received a confirmation email from apple at 3:07 am on the 10th for 42mm space gray but just spoke with an apple representative on the phone and she said my order went through at 7:05 am because the system crashed ###

I'll tell you a lot of funky things were going on at launch. I live in NJ at the store didn't open for me until 3:11 EST which is why I was at :18.

That's what I'm hoping for and also keep saying. There's no possible way this amount of lag can continue on orders if they're realistically going to deliver by June (not to mention retail)...at the actual rate they're going (I'm a dork and did some generic math...a week every 5 mins of orders) it would be well into the 2nd generation before orders would be completed for the first week of pre-orders haha. Obviously the heaviest orders happened within the first few hours so that math doesn't completely hold up but I think you get the point.

Once they figure out the manufacturing process that seems to be held up I'm sure we'll be seeing them rapidly pick up pace. That may realistically be in June though. I can't imagine if they're THIS backed up that in a couple of weeks they'll have magically caught up.

Yeah... Totally agree. But you'd think with China having a billion people they could spare a few million from their child army to help increase production! MO CHO! MO FUNG GAO KIDS!

Couldn't have said it better myself! It's funny, when you're on here it seems like there's a ton of watches out there and we're wondering where OURS are...but the reality is 75% of people who want and have actually ordered a watch haven't received theirs yet either.

TC needs to hear the frustration from his most loyal fans so he doesn't screw up the next product launch. He should have delayed launch a month or so until they had adequate inventory or not even bother with a "pre-launch". Why they launched it with so many band options is beyond me. A total logistics nightmare. They should have sold it with one basic band and sold the upgrades in the stores.

Not sure if it was this thread or not, but someone mentioned that May 1st is labor day in China, which could explain why there were so few CC charges last night (CC charge = leaving from China right?)

And even if there are people still working, I can only assume that it's not nearly as many people as a normal work day. So here's to hoping this theory is right, and we are full speed ahead Sunday night (China's Monday morning)

I think in China they don't celebrate Labor Day with bbq's and beer. I think they celebrate it by going to work for 16 hours instead of 12.

you should contact with Apple Customer Service. I though something wrong with your order. All the order xx:01 - xx:05 already shipped out

should have added: "germany"- seems apple is holding back shipments over here..

Absolutely not true. And contacting CS isn't going to help - you're order isn't "late" for another week unless you were in the 5/13-5/27 shipping group, which would mean it's still a week before the window STARTS.

What good would that do. He's more teflon than Jobs. Look at all the repeated misjudgments and failures on his short watch yet he's still lauded.

Maps and subsequent mea culpa
2012 iMac 27" launch w/ no inventory and subsequent mea culpa
John Browett debacle
Marginally, the iPhone 5C
Underestimation of iPhone 6+ inventory requirements @ launch

And I must say Photos is less than stellar on my iMac. Very slow w/ the same library I had w/ iPhotos.

Guys I know how frustrated we all are right now. All week, I have been antsy and stressed out. As a xx:08 I have now come to accept that my watch will not be here in the next few days. Just know that all of us are being frustrated over a device that only a fraction of the world has, and we will have within a 2months (for all of the late June people) and shortly we will be able to look down at our wrists and smile. Don't let the stress get to your head. Not worth it!

Yesterday I travelled for business from Portland to San Jose and then back from San Francisco in the evening and I figured I would see an :apple:Watch in the wild at some point.... nope, not a single one. I really do think they're pretty scarce...
