Same boat as you. I assume you ordered through the app, I wasn't able to get on the web interface until a minute or two after I ordered. So it looks like the SG Sports 42mm stock sold out within the first two minutes, and before the website came back online. The worst that can happen is that we'll get the device (probably) within the next week - I'm willing to bet you'll see a charge on your card early next week.

I doubt many of us will use the website again when ordering.

I have the same delivery and location. I am not entirely sure we are getting ours this Friday. I was over in the 4/24-5/8 thread and more and more people are getting shipping confirmation e-mails. I haven't even been charged yet.

I guess pending charges are showing up as charging on the 23rd, and it just be a case that we are physically closer to the shipping center and may get an update today/tomorrow yet. The shipping method also says 1 day/overnight shipping, so there's hope!

I'm trying my best not to be disappointed if it doesn't end up coming Friday though.
 
I'm in Louisville where the UPS World Port is so I'm hoping my 42mm space grey sport will be delivered on Friday even though I have not been charged and it's still processing. I got my confirmation email at 3:04 AM Eastern Time.
 
I'm sorry but this is ******** ridiculous.

If I would have known that model wouldn't be available on 4/24 I would have cancelled and selected one that would be. Instead they give a vauge 4/24-5/8 window, really?

I seriously better get my watch on Friday or I'm gonna be pissed. Worst Apple pre order experience in my 8+ years of doing this. Steve would have never allowed this.
 
Pretty glum in here this morning... Cheer up guys, I bet they'll be another round of charging/preparing this afternoon just like the last two days. The tracking and pending charges are showing 4/23 so I think there's still hope right through tomorrow afternoon! They're shipping next day air, it's totally conceivable that some could ship as late as tomorrow afternoon/evening and still make your doorstep Friday morning.

its really easy to say what steve would and would not have allowed now that you can't be proven wrong. i say its still too early to lose hope
 
I'm wondering if the Mon-Tues shipments were mostly what Apple had already built and maybe today and tomorrows shipments to distribution facilities will be what they've built since preorders. If that is true then most of what we will see today and tomorrow will be Space Gray Sports since that ended up being the most preordered model.

Heres hoping at least :cool:

Apple products are very popular these days and this is a new product for Apple. Back away from that ledge, we'll all get them sooner or later. :apple: I want mine on Friday but I know I'll likely have to wait till May. Trying to be patient and having fun in the mean time ;)

Seeing as how the iPad 1 had 100,000 preorder units and the apple watch (the biggest preorder of any device ever) sold 2.3 million preorder units, I'd say that they're doing alright getting this stuff out. Not too worried about it.
 
some probably uninformed  rep told me from what she's hearing it will be very unlikely for anyone in batch one to receive their watch later than monday
 
Order an extra 2m charging cable on Tuesday and that is preparing for shipment but no watch I woke up for and prefer at 3:00 in the freaking morning. Last time I do that ****.

Worst pre-order experience? It's not even the release date yet! iMore says they are staging watches in the US; they can easily do two day delivery within the country.

At any rate, calm the **** down.
 
Everyone just needs to relax and calm down. We are all in the same boat. We all woke up early, or stayed up late to pre-order. Yes its frustrating but there is not a thing we can do about it but wait.

Instead of being angry or negative about the situation, just think how it could be worse. Those in the 4/24-5/8 window, you could have been 2 minutes slower with your order and not be getting the watch until June.

i think this is true , im not worried.
When i placed my order it says 4/24-5/8 so of course i rather have it on release day . But they gave you a range. as long as it arrives within the range they make good on the order and are techinally not late . because people dont get it on the earliest date given they just go crazy

With that people said " i would like to have my watch FRIDAY LOL """
thats why they dont take your $ til its being ready to ship

The sense of entitlement is strong with this one... :roll eyes:

Be happy you're in the first wave and not waiting until June. And let the man rest in peace already. This is Tim Cook's Apple. If you don't like it, go buy a Samsung watch, I hear they aren't hard to come by. Don't forget to cancel your :apple: Watch order so we all get ours a little quicker!

I'm not giving up hope until thursday evening, if I haven't received a charge or it hasn't switched to 'prepared for shipment' then it time for :(

For real. If they are being sent overnight anyway there is no reason to suspect it can't ship late tomorrow.

Apple fans + the internetz = anger and negativity till the end of time. Nothing you say or do will ever change that. Ever.
 
Anyone order a 42mm SG Sport at 3 minutes or later from going on sale that has gone into preparing for shipping?

Orded at 12:03 and nothing. It seems like 2 minutes might have been the cut off time to have them shipped and delivered on release date. Not sure, just speculating....I really hope not.
