How do you know this? I do know that Saturday delivery isn't available in all areas because I had this issue with an iPad that Apple shipped with Saturday delivery.

----------

Apple may choose Saturday delivery if they ship watches on Friday.

Ya I believe it's up to Apple on whether or not they want to pay for the added cost to ship on Saturday.

I think we've got another couple hours before the next wave, last 2 days it was about 3:30-4:30 central time

I'm sure there will be Saturday deliveries. Apple is not a normal company, and thus their Saturday up charge is likely much less

Apple supply chain - we want these delivered Saturday
Carrier A - that would cost this much
Apple - were willing to pay this or we will ship with carrier B

Sport 42mm Space Gray ordered 4/10 and confirmed at 3:18 AM EST (12:18 Pacific), and paid with Paypal into Bank Account. Estimated ship date range May 13 - May 27.

Still "Processing Items", and money has not been pulled...

Yeah, people should avoid blanket UPS statements, it seems to vary by region.

In my metro, UPS does Saturday deliveries to business and residential addresses.

The original iPads delivered on Saturday, 04/24/2010. I got mine via UPS.

Yeah, I had them delivery to another address because no UPS Saturday deliveries in my area. This was only possible because I knew at least a few days in advance.

I ordered a space gray 42mm at 3:01 AM and I been preparing to ship since monday....

Do we know how many planes are landing today? When I tried looking I only saw 2 coming from China.

I really doubt it

I think at this point we can assume the Space Gray 42mm is constrained. If like some have said, Apple has a stash of the models they predicted would be most popular already in the states, it doesn't make sense why those that ordered the earliest are slowly getting shipment notifications as planes land from China. If anything the early orders would be getting watches from these "stashes" and those that ordered later would be getting them from China. I think any and all stock is all coming from China and if enough makes it in the next day or so us 42mm space gray people may still get it Friday. I have my doubts though.

Bottom line is I don't think Apple has a magical domestic stock of watches.

I agree

I sincerely believe that Friday is a lost cause at this point...

People don't seem to understand that preparing for shipment is a good thing. No one officially has received a shipping confirmation from Apple. Some of has success with the UPS track by reference, but it's safe to assume if you've got that status, you're good as gold.

The real problem is for us still stuck in the processing stage with the 4/24-58 window. With more and more news of the Mid May orders getting updated to Prepared For Shipment, it's hard for us still stuck not to be extremely frustrated.

Why are you mad/surprised the item with a May 13-27 delivery date is not shipping in April?

still waiting

Like most here ( that are waiting ) I am the dreaded 12:04 confirmation.

Only reason it is not sooner is the iPad app did not work...so I tried on my iPhone at 12:02 and got in...ordered by 12:03 and confirmation a minute later...

NEVER thought I would have to wait till after launch day ordering 3 minutes after the on sale time...

But it is what it is I guess....Yes, it is a little maddening...but I will get over it.

Mine is supposed to arrive on the 12th May... D: So annoyed its gonna be late. I ordered at like 2 mins after they started due to the store being down for ages. Can't wait to have this beauty :D

Email cam thru at :03, got the first wave estimate. I'll live, just a little annoying not seeing any updates

Perhaps, Apple is sending out 42mm first, than 38mm after, keep checking later tonight, I have a feel a first batch will start processing soon enough. Already has in UK. U.S might be next.
