Yesterday they got all the 4/26 orders, today seems it will be all 4/27, maybe some 4/28. At that rate, however, I don't see early May starting until mid to late next week, if not the following week. I hope it's sooner as I ordered may 2nd.

There are thousands of posts in a couple dozen threads in this forum... but, I think Apple finished fulfilling 4/10 orders for the U.S. 42mm Space Gray watches last Thursday. In the 6 days since then, Apple has fulfilled 2-1/2 weeks of orders, including a (speculated) bump of orders on 4/24. So, it looks like Apple is capable of filling about 2 to 3 days of backlog per fulfillment day. And that may be higher now that we are past the initial backlog ordering rush.
If you ordered on May 2, then that is about 6 days of backlog. Apple should get to that by Friday at the latest.

Ordered my space gray sport April 10th at 12:11 AM, watch shipped and I received it on May 19 th. The window for delivery was May 13 - May 27th, so it was delivered early.
I hope yours makes it today.

What an experience. For a guy who likes the shopping experience, this was awful. Walked into an Apple Store on 4/11 for a try on "appointment " and placed an order in the store,then waited so long after the "available" date and all the ads saying it is here. Not sure what apple is trying to do to, but from someone who has been an apple freak since the MacSE, this was the worst Apple purchase ever.
Yes. Currently says it's delayed but I'm sure it will scan again as it gets sorted and heads west.
Mine is also finally out for delivery. I agree. It seems like 4/11-4/13 were the worst days to order. We had by far the longest waits. I ordered on 4/11 after doing a try on appointment as well. Definitely not happy it took this long. This thing better beat my expectations haha.
How quickly does the watch ship and arrive once the credit card is charged? I ordered on 4/28 and based on the responses here, I am thinking it will be charged some time today. If that happens, what are the odds that I receive it by Friday? I am leaving to go out of town on Saturday, so I am hoping to have it before then.
Depends on where you are and where it is coming from. Mine took 3 business days from China to Seattle. It "shipped" on Saturday but I won't get it until today.
Ok, I am in Louisiana. I thought I read somewhere that the shipping was overnight. I guess I won't be there when it arrives if it takes 3 days. It figures this would happen.
i woke up to the same message this morning. I knew things were going too well. Hopefully we will hear something soon. I guess that they got overwhelmed with the 5 flights come in at one time.
You might luck out. It seems some others in the SE region have been getting theirs shipped from Tennessee, which could be the case with you. If it ships from there today I bet you get it tomorrow or Friday. If it comes from China probably won't get it by Friday.
I see that mine just got re-scanned in KY and will be delivering tomorrow in NV by end of day. I didn't make out too bad as I just lost my early delivery slot for tomorrow. Now it is by end of day.
I have a feeling we may see mid may orders by the weekend. I doubt there were that many orders at the end of April beginning of May. We should be all caught up soon. At the very latest these will ship out sometime next week.
Definitely. They updated my May 7th order to "7-10 days" on Monday which would put it shipping next Wednesday at the latest, arriving June 12th, which coincidentally is the first day of my "delivers" range.
So, I spent all day yesterday staring out my window like a puppy dog. Every time I heard an engine rumble, I had a Pavlovian response. Just a garbage truck. Just a bus. The garbage truck making another pass. A school bus. A diesel pickup truck.
UPS promised a delivery by 7 pm, but past Apple preorders always seemed to come between 9 and 10 am. My usual UPS deliveries come around 3. 3 o'clock: no UPS. 4 o'clock: nope. 5:00. 5:45--a UPS truck drives by my house. 6:00. 6:15--the UPS truck 6:20. Do I call UPS? Has there been an accident somewhere? Maybe my call to the UPS call center in the morning--asking for a more specific time--got me put on a list. Maybe the driver lost the package. 6:30. Maybe the driver forgot about me? Finally, at 6:38, it came! Even though I had to leave for a meeting as the truck was pulling up, I signed and brought the box with me. No way was I letting it out of my sight.
I swear, the overall wait for this preorder has driven me near the brink of insanity. Of course the delivery day would come down to the deadline, minute after excruciating minute.
But I'm done complaining now. Thanks to all in this forum who have kept me company. The commiseration here--and the general good-naturedness of all involved--has helped me to feel a sense of community over the past 6 weeks. May you all have your watches soon, and may you reach all of your stand goals that the watch will remind you of.

My shipping status hasnt updated in over a week... starting to get a little frustrated that people who ordered their watch after I did are getting updated shipping details. GRRRR!

My status changed on Sunday night to delivery a week early then on Monday it changed to delivery in 2 days. So I think you'll notice a quick series of updates.
Based on some piecing together, it looks like the next few flights land in Alaska around 5pm Eastern. I would imagine at that time those of us in PFS might flip to shipped, as it looks like previous PFS=>shipped happened around 5-6 eastern yesterday, which I assume coincides with the last round of flights arriving in AK. Just a guess!
Mine went to shipped and I received a tracking number before the watch left China. Now it is in KY and hopefully I will see it sometime tomorrow. Good luck with yours.
Anyone able to get tracking by reference (phone number) to show for 4/26 orders that went to PFS late last night? Trying to see if it's coming in before I'm out of town this Friday.
