I highly doubt seconds mean anything when we're talking about the email. Difference in seconds could simply be a matter of slower or faster incoming mail servers.

If you forward your conformation email to yourself it will show the seconds in the header area

Mine was one second before you at xx:03:56, still nothing No charge, no shipment. Still processing and I got the EOD last night.

Yea but if you look at header fairly sure you can see what time email left originating server as well, although as you said not sure it actually matters.

Forward the email to yourself and it will show in the header

The header shows when the email was sent from the outgoing server. That being said, it's still not a great indication of when the order was received by Apple.

Not for me. Email at 00:03:57 for 42mm SGS and still no charge or shipment preparation.

At 10:57am PDT, got the following message from the bank.

Capital One Alert: A chrge or hold for $433.91 on Apr 23, 15 was placed on your VISA BUSINESS (XXXX) at APL*APPLE ONLINE STORE.
Std carrier chrges apply

Order status still shows Processing Items. And yes, I received the Email of Death last night. I'm in the SF Bay Area, if that matters.

Sometime between 11:45am and noon PDT, the above order went to "Preparing for Shipment".
