Plane has landed. After this there are 3 more. Two more 747s and a MD11. Three 747s landing in 45 minutes of each other is a pretty big deal IMO. That's a lot of cargo. 200,000 cubic feet of cargo combined.

uugggnnnhhhhh tell me more?! How much thrust can those engines produce huh? Our shipment statuses really need to get updated lol.

I was in the first wave and ordered fairly early (email at 12:03).

Yesterday I got charged and two hours ago I got a shipped notification. My watch didn't arrive on a plane from China in the past week, I'm certain of it. It was here all along.

Hahaha upwards of 70,000 pounds per engine depending on the 747 model. I've been around planes my entire life. Know a lot about the 747/A380.

Same here, but mine is coming from Rialto. Delivering to Irvine. I doubt either of us will see much movement until tonight, considering it doesn't take long for UPS to transport the watches across the country via air shipment.

Where do you find the seconds in your order confirmation e-mail?

Look in the header of the email and it will show the seconds. How you do that depends on what email program you use. If it's Apple Mail, go to View > Message > All Headers

Out of interest, how do people know what planes are carrying Apple cargo? Are the flights themselves publicly available and it is then a question of making educated guesses which flights are cargo and which might be Apple, or do people have insider knowledge? Very interesting!

Educated guesses based on past launches. No one officially knows. But we know they are coming by UPS and from China. In addition there are third party cargo planes flying in as well. Probably carrying apple products because of the extra cargo being moved.

If I remember correctly from the iPhone preorders, most of the flights from Incheon, South Korea contained preorders. UPS99 should be landing in Anchorage any minute.
