Im from Peru, and my aunt that lives in the US (New York City) preorder the watch for me.
The confirmation email was recived at 6.36 am from April 10 showing: Avaible to ship: June (SG 42MM APPLE WATCH SPORT)
My aunt is comming to Peru the 29 of May, so i was wondering if there is a chance that the watch ships earlier, ¿what do you think?
I hope it ships earlier so she can bring me that watch to Peru!

Lots of progress on my order today. I just had it changed to Shipped on Apple's site, and have a tracking # now. Looks like I might get it tomorrow after all. The funny thing is, I assumed it was coming over from Asia today, but according to the tracking status, it's been in PA this whole time.

Maybe they were waiting for me to post that. Flipped back over to check and now it's Shipped.
I think that's right. My apple system time was 5:18am pst but I ordered at 12:05:44 per email confirmation.

I was debating then ordered yesterday and I hate waiting # what a **** product launch. I would of happily waited in line. (Never experienced an apple line)
East vs. West
For East coast, at this point I would nearly 100% agree, maybe 98%..
For West coast, we still have a LOT of time.
Think about it, if apple has your CC on file, you're a legacy customer, they've done the credit validation already (and I DO think things like AMEX/Gold/Plat make a difference, they know there won't be any rejection) they know then can process these things up to the last MINUTE and once they scan it, it charges, it's shipping and on it's way to a distro point.
Also, at this point in the process, UPS is just apples b..ch... I mean you KNOW that.. Apple is totally in control of THESE plans, heck they are probably singularly dedicated to apple product at this point in the release cycle. If there is a bit of a hold up at a import/inbound processing point that plan is WAITING till it's ready to go. Ground personnel at the regional hubs are WAITING (and certainly being paid overtime) to process WHATEVER comes in on the plan, WHEN it comes in and get it on the trucks.
And those trucks are not leaving till they are loaded with product.
A WATCHed pot never boils they say, but I am certain that this is a VERY METICULOUSLY watched process
