Nope, tried rubbing it off, nothing is happening, wonder if that blob is the clear or paint hasn’t been applied properlyIs that not just dust?

Could be onto something there 🤔 oh well these things happen, spoke to the apple store I purchased it from, great customer service over the phone, told me bring back the iPad for a new replacement.I am guessing the machine (for some reason) that places the decal on the iPad made the "blob" impression.

Absolutely. 🙃 only had one issue with the manger back in the days for my 5s, acting like a up himself brat, went back the next day, got someone else, changed the phone over, out of there in 10m.Gotta love the quick, accommodating customer service from Apple.
Yep, sent the photo to a friend, he couldn’t stop laughing 🤦♂️😂 wasn’t very pleased with him, then I saw the funny side of it as well 🙄😂It looks like where a sticker to protect the logo during manufacturing was removed. The shape is too perfect.

I use mine with and without a case, bit hard to un see it now and I’ll always know it’s there now, the whole back doesn’t look as clean as my previous 2018 space grey model.Since you are using the cover and don’t see it unless you take it off the case, you sure you want to gamble a perfect screen for a blemish free backing but possible bloom/shadow issue? Just kidding . I just checked my silver, unless my eyes are going bad, I cannot see anything yet. Make sure when you take it back, that you can open and view the new one in store to make sure it is as perfect as your current screen. Good luck.

Replacement iPad is flawless so far, the back looks brand new compared to the old one, first one I had the screen was filthy when I unwrapped the plastic, new one is spotless, don’t know if I’m seeing things, the screen seems to have more contrast.
Safari is definitely more snappier 😂 (JOKING)

Would have been good if the same customer service was available here in India. Don't even have the 14 day return policy here. Have to hope it is a perfect piece, the first time, unless there is a major defect.
