I know scratches are inevitable, but how have people's Space Grey MacBooks been holding up, especially on the palm rest, around the connector, and on the edges? How's the coating? For those with scratches, are they very noticeable?

Three weeks and no issues. I'm fairly gentle with it but, it gets used all day every day. The key board and trackpad show use. Likely finger grease.

It does seem darker/lighter under different lights. I'm extremely happy with the color.

So far no scratches but I dread the day. It will most surely be noticeable, more so than in the silver version.

Good so far and I've had it since 4/21. I carry it with me everywhere I go in my company computer bag (I'm a computer consultant.) I am fairly nice to it, though, and keep it in a sleeve when I'm not using it. So far no scratches. It does show finger grease a bit more on the trackpad than my previous silver rMBP, but only in certain lighting conditions :)

No scratches yet

Just got back from a week long trip. Used it on the small trays on the airplanes, brought it downstairs to the lobby of hotel rooms. Carried it without a case or sleeve. Just just the laptop compartment in my backpack for protection. I always take care of my Apple stuff, but no scratches or dings yet.
