It looks like a lighter grey glass to me, and the side bezel is very much classic space grey

I guess we’ll know more specifically when press gets their hands on it in a few minutes

Considering the issues they had in production and after with the black phones last year, this makes sense. Nice shade of space gray. I really enjoy my jet black, but I'd be happy with that SG.

I'm holding out for a few reasons, but the smaller size and resolution/pixel density of the X are certainly welcome. The price tag not so much. :p

My matte black has held up just fine

I'm pumped they brought SG back. Granted matte black has grown on me, but I definitely prefer SG.

So what, it’s just a name. Space gray has differed on different devices and changed over time.

This version of space gray is basically the same as the iPod Touch and Apple Watch space gray which is fine and a lot of people find it better than black.

But admittedly, it’s not the same as black, but it’s not as bad as iPhone space gray.
