I've just replaced my standard white magic keyboard with numeric keypad and trackpad with sexeh space grey ones for no other reason than I like the colour.

After just a few hours use, I'm can see smears on the keycaps.

I don't have particularly greasy fingers but this looks terrible. I've wiped them clean but this isn't something I'm going to want to keep on doing.

Has anyone else found the same thing?

I have a sad feeling I'm going to have to return it and if I do that, I'll have to return them both as a combination of a white keyboard and space grey trackpad will look a bit silly.

Black keys gonna show grease and shiny spots more than white keys. It’s something, I think you’ll have to live with or return it. A keyboard cover may be something you want to look in to.

I'm sure my MacBook doesn't show marks like this and that's over three years old. A cover will destroy the aesthetics and the feel of it so this may well be going back. I've got a fortnight to decide so will see how I feel in a few days.
