Does any one else think with the new form factor with the iPhone 6 and 6 plus they should have changed the ring surrounding the Touch ID button to space grey?

IMO it would look cool to have it stick out when looking at the front of the phone, like they did again with the silver and gold variations.

Anyone with me?

I am

The main reason I never go with Space Grey. I think the Touch ID on it looks weird. It doesn't stand out like it does on the Gold/Silver.

Many commented on this when the 5s was released, but obviously Apple thought having a full black front looks better and it's no different this year.

I'd much prefer it to be Space Grey - nearly got the silver because of it. At the end of the day though, it's only a button. I'd rather they concentrate on other aspects.

I hate the ring. That is the main reason I got space again. Wanted white this time around but I think the rings is to distracting IMO

I agree, one of the reasons I didn't go space grey this time (in addition to the fact that it's a lighter grey this time too).

I love how clean the Touch ID looks with the home button. One of the main reasons I chose Space Gray 🙂

Nope - I like that it's full black.
