Well, are civilian only supposed to watch from the road?

My guess is that he is a news reporter or a VVIP of some sort

There are many civilians that are part of the Shuttle program, including contractors, security, etc.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Mobile/8J2)

Should have held another mirror beside the rear view and taken a picture of that :S

And this is a story because?

I finally registered because I was sick of posts such as this...instead of just posting another post such as this... How about reading all the other posts that tell everyone else who posts such posts as this, why it's newsworthy...

Is this a news website? Is this CNN, FOX or any other world news outlet? Nope... It's a website, or BLOG to be more accurate, all about this to do with the Mac and the iOS.

If you don't care about it, it's simple. Don't read it, and don't comment on it...

K, enough said...:)

A number of iP4's went up with the shuttle. Waiting to hear what they did.

"On the space station, astronauts will use the iPhone’s gyro, accelerometer, and cameras to collect data related to navigation and radiation tracking. “It’s really, truly an experiment,” Rishikof said. After the iPhones are returned to Earth (most likely by a Russian Soyuz capsule next fall), much of the data will be viewable on the SpaceLab for iOS app."
