Well, it's not really a bug, in fact I quite like what it does.
Here's how to re-produce:
Click and hold the title bar of an app (as if you're about to move it) then go into spaces while still holding down your mouse. (F6 for me) Release the mouse, then click back into the space.
The window is now being dragged around without you having to keep holding your mouse button. 🙂 You can move between spaces etc. easily enough.
This is the handy thing, and the thing that wasn't fixed (I haven't seen anybody else complain, it's just something I would have liked) is the ability to grab a window, activate spaces and take that window with you so you can drop it into your required space. As opposed to grabbing, then CTRAL + 1, 2,3.... or activating spaces THEN dragging the window.
