I Have spaces assigned to F11 on my MBP and sometimes spaces would glitch or something and take me back to my desktop. but the the hotkey wont work anymore. i can still move through spaces by pressing option - arrow, but not the hotkey to see all the spaces. it is still enabled under system preferences. the problem is fixed whenever i restart but i dont want to keep doing that. has anyone else experienced this? any quick solutions?

Just wondering, are your sure you don't a have a hotkey conflict? in my case F11 is assigned to show Desktop and F8 is assigned to show Spaces by default. Probably you may want to take a look at system Preferences under Exposé & Spaces ( both -> Exposé and -> Spaces) and also make sure that under Keyboard & Mouse -> Keyboard shortcuts they are assigned in the same way, if there's a conflict most likely they will show a yellow warning sign on the side.
