Hey,

Can I run two instances of an application in separate Spaces?

For example, I might be doing some web development work in one space so I'll have firefox open and finder. I also want to keep an eye on some forums so I want a separate instance/window of Firefox open in a different Space.

Is that possible?

Yes. You can't run multiple instances, but you can open multiple windows. Either press Cmd-N or go to File->New Window, then I believe you can drag the window to the edge of the screen until you flip to the next space.

Thanks. I've been trying to click the icon in the dock while in a new Space but it just switches me back. I'll try your idea.
