It's an old Mac classic. It would be nice if people were interested in seeing this ported and Delta Tao did it or licensed it to someone else to do so.

booooooooo

evil evil evil. You made me think they had releawsed this game for the iPod. but really your'e just wanting it. Boo says me.

If only they would! I love The Ho! and play it on my Mac regularly. They made a Palm version. Why not the iPhone?

And Spaceward Ho! is such a classic. It also would work really well on the iPhone.

I mentioned the game in a Galcon thread and one guy said he e-mailed them about an iPhone version, the answer was, "Some day."

That was indeed the answer I got from one of the SH! devs. So I guess time will tell if we will ever see it on the iPhone/Touch.

News flash, Spaceward Ho! was originally a DOS game (that's pre-Windows PC OS from Microsoft to you young'un's), then a Windows 3.x game, and then eventually ported to Mac (and Amiga), and recently PalmOS. Why it isn't on iPhone I don't understand, but perhaps this will come in its due time.

Spaceward Ho - OS X

There is an OS X version of Spaceward Ho (v5). It allows multiplayer games over the internet, hosted by a central site.

The latest version of Spaceward Ho for windows is v4, which allows LAN multiplayer games.

I recently downloaded the Palm OS version, and I am completely addicted. An iPhone version would be fabulous - properly marketed it could eclipse all previous sales put together! A key feature would be server-based multiplayer games.

That's so awesome!!! I have a short list of games I really miss from my palm... this is on it. I can't wait!

Holy blast from the past Batman.

I read the title of the thread and immediately visions of my first job out of college sitting in my cubical getting a thrashing from my boss. What glory days....:D:D
