Spaceward Ho! for iPhone

Any update on sh! Coming to iPhone?

Any update on sh! Coming to iPhone? I miss this game.

Also has anyone out there found a decent substitute with similar gameplay? Star command is the closest I've found but is just too small scale to be at all satisfying. Suggestions?
 
I think this project seems to have died. I've been looking on the delta Tao website for updates for months and not seen one.

There is a game on the AppStore called Betelgeuse Brawl which fills the void. It's a pretty good 4X space game which is taking up my time until spaceward ho appears.
 
I have begun to lose hope as well. Even if they manage to get it done I fear it will not be successful without exceptional production values.
 
If you're looking for alternate 4X space games for iOS, there's always Distant Star. I'm the developer, and while I've not played Spaceward Ho! (I know, I know! A travesty!), I designed Distant Star to tickle my own Master of Orion itch. Plus, I've just released an update adding a bunch of new content and turning it into a universal iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch app.

I loved that game, I just stumbled upon this thread and will definitely be picking it up 🙂
 
I've been playing spaceward ho! on every single Mac I've ever owned. In finally remembering this topic on MR I'm so happy to see it on ios.

Now gimme an iPhone version so I can play on the toilet. And not just the couch. (iPad)
