Sparrow Mail App (for Mac)

been uisng mac mail app (for gmail) switching to sparrow

how do you create FOLDERS (not labels), their site has folders
how do you report or mark stuff as spam

i've looked ..ya got me 🙁

Gmail doesn't really use folders. It uses labels. That way the same email can have numerous labels while still being just one email.

then sparrow's site is HIGHLY misleading!!

so how do get email out of my inbox?

you would archive it or delete it. if you archive it it goes to the "all mail" folder and just lives its life there. if you delete it it would go into the trash of course. Sparrow is cool for Gmail. it works better than Apple Mail does.

if one more person or their site says how good sparrow is for gmail.. to the moon alice LOL.. and how do i access this archive.. i cant find it.. i dont see ANYTHING that says archive..

to complicate things i am just learning all this tag / label stuff.

do i need to label (i prefer the word tag) mail to archive it

if i make a new label in gmail web does it get brought into sparrow?

No. You can archive an email by clicking the archive button in the top right toolbar (box and arrow icon). From this toolbar you can also create a New Mail, Reply, and Delete.

Yes. You don't need to press a sync button so it must be happening periodically.

Signatures: yes, at least in the paid app. You can try the free version for yourself.
iCloud: I have not experienced any issues with email.

Yes. I suggest you try the free version and if you feel anything is missing, look at the paid version features and from there decide if you want/need to purchase.
