If you bring up the volume control the Control Center screen (in iOS14) it has a Spatial Audio on/off button. However it doesn’t cut Spatial Audio off and Spatial Audio stays on.

Oddly I have iOS15 on my iPad and the Spatial Audio on/off button is MIA. Was it put in iOS14 by mistake since it doesn’t work and isn't in iOS15?

A little update and surprised no one posted. I had "Always On" and this effects the button operation. If you change to "Automatic" the button starts working but with "Always On" the button don't work.

STRANGE.

Still dosn't explain why it's not on my iPad on iOS15. Also if I switch my iPad to "Automatic" Spatial dosn't work at all. I MUST have on "Always On" for Spatial to work with my Max.

STRANGE.

Also seems Apple should element the "Always On" and just have one setting "Automatic". Since the Atmos stream is processed in the device (and not processed in the iPod's) it doesn't really matter if it is AirPods or 3ed party. I think Apple just wants to make an illusion of a deference to help sell AirPods.
