How much better are the 15" speakers compared to the 13"?
Wirelessly posted (iPod Touch 2G 8GB: Opera/9.80 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/5.0.0176/742; U; en) Presto/2.4.15)
I also wonder, if you can switch it for something else!
A whole heck of a lot better, I'd say. Especially now that the 15" tech specs page says 'stereo speakers with subwoofers.'
I couldn't say how much "better" the 15" speakers are compared to the 13", however, I will tell you that my wife's MBP 13" speakers blow the absolute heck out of any 15" Lenovo laptop my company has provided me over the last eight years.
Very interested in this as well. Did the old macbooks/MBPs *not* have a subwoofer?
They didn't mention a subwoofer in this page last year:
In general, speakers in larger laptops sound better than smaller ones, simply because there is more space. The iPad blows the iPhone away, that's for sure!
Since the 13's speakers are already awesome, I expect the 15s to definitely outperform them.
Don't know which one is better, but for the new models, the 13" and 15" both say they have subwoofers.
