An amplifier was recently released that claims to amplify the speaker volume on the iPhone. It is titled "AudioAmp" and can be found in the Installer. I just downloaded it, and there appears to be about a 20% increase. I wonder if this un-natural increase in volume could cause damage, but for now I will try to only max out the volume when necessary. I haven't had the time to compare my volume now to before the app was installed, but it would be interesting to see the actual difference.
