Speakerphone won't work in Skype iPhone 6s

Does anyone use Skype using the inbuilt speakerphone?

At the moment if I try to switch to the iPhones built is speaker the audio becomes crackly and distorted.

Switching back to normal clears the problem.

I am using a iPhone 6s 128gb ios is fully up to date and Skype is the latest version 6.2.0.6.

OMG yes. Same here. I absolutely despise Skype and would drop it in a heartbeat if my coworkers didn't use it. Every time a new iPhone comes out Skype is asleep at the wheel. If we're lucky they'll fix it before Christmas.

Lets hope that they get on and fix this.

Linked to a friend on a 5c on iOS 9, he had no problem using speakerphone.

Latest iOS update doesn't fix this so it looks like Skype has to fix this on their end. By the way I see on the Skype Community Forums they are aware of this problem and allegedly working on a fix.

Same here, just updated to 9.0.2 and the problem is as before. Skype via speakerphone on the 6s unusable.

Looks like Skype 6.3 released this morning fixes things nicely!

Fixed, upgraded to 6.3 and the problem is solved.
