Speakers on Macbook Alu

    that day, i went to an apple store to look at MB alu...
    i was trying to find the speaker on the MB but couldn't find...
    when i looked into the preferences, it showed that MB is running on headset...
    can anyone help me clear this doubt??

    THe previous poster told you where they are located, but I just wanted to chime in and say that they sound surprisingly good for laptop speakers!

    Should also point out, they are better than older generation. :D

    They're still a little quiet for me on occasion, but I have headphones for those times. Leaps and bounds better than the speakers in my White MacBook for sure.

    They actually are quite good for a laptop, but the Altec Lansing units my gf's 14.1" HP (dv4 series) has are outstanding. They have a far better dynamic range in terms of frequency, but the MB speakers can go louder before distorting, heh.
