that day, i went to an apple store to look at MB alu... i was trying to find the speaker on the MB but couldn't find... when i looked into the preferences, it showed that MB is running on headset... can anyone help me clear this doubt?? Thx
The speakers are located under the keyboard. THe previous poster told you where they are located, but I just wanted to chime in and say that they sound surprisingly good for laptop speakers!
They're still a little quiet for me on occasion, but I have headphones for those times. Leaps and bounds better than the speakers in my White MacBook for sure.
They actually are quite good for a laptop, but the Altec Lansing units my gf's 14.1" HP (dv4 series) has are outstanding. They have a far better dynamic range in terms of frequency, but the MB speakers can go louder before distorting, heh.
