Speakers panned right on start-up

Every time i power on or restart my computer i have to re-center the panning of my speakers under system settings. Always panned to the right on start-up.

I'm on about the built in speakers.

I want this to stop happening, advice please.

Reset your PRAM.

Shut down.

Press the Power Button and immediately hold Command+Option+P+R

Hold these keys until the second "gong" sound.

Done.

No that hasn't solved it, still panned right on start-up.

Anything else to try?

I know this is digging up the dead but did you figure this out? I'm having it now...

Also an issue for me.

It's very frustrating.
