I knew the answer to that question when I was about 8 or 9 (shortly after getting our first computer). My nefew (turning 6 I think this summer) knows where speakers plug into on a computer (and he can barely read). Kids today should know that kind of info.... especially at 15. There is a little book that comes with EVERY Mac that tells you EXACTLY what ports are what... read a little, and you will avoid my rath, well some of it anyway... muahahahahahahaaa

OMG, Alpha has a lot of energy today.... Word to all of the newbies, DUCK!

I agree, but hey, maybe the kid can't read, or maybe he is blind. Who knows maybe the is confused about who is next date will be and he isn't thinking clearly. I ain't saying to be sunshine and daisy's, but have a little hear

Oh, this is the devil post!!! 666!!!!!!!

Feal my wrath.....

Backtothemac, I am almost finished with my first mug-o-caffeene, so ducking would probably be a good idea.

I am also continuing the testing of the 60GB TravelStar inside my TiBook. I will be calling IBM again this afternoon to give them the test results and see what they do. Worse case, I will still have this drive, which I will most likely make external. Best case, they send me a replacement one that is quieter and I put it inside the TiBook (making the 40GB drive that came with it external).

A little side info... the IBM tech lady (aye, a woman :D) mentioned that there are RAID enclosures that use the 2.5" hard drives. Now THAT would be something sweet to connect to a TiBook. Put a bunch of 20-40GB TravelStar drives inside it, set it up on RAID 0 and go from there.

hmm how about Apple Pro Speakers? :p :p I'm kidding...

I use the bookshelf stereos (like alex_ant mentioned), and they rock. I have my stereo system next to my iMac (all that extra space left on my desk had to be used for somthing!).. and when I want to watch a DVD or when I'm in a really stressed mood, I turn the sound up way high (and I mean way high), sit back, and enjoy. It's really great.

and oh, you know that sound out sound in business.. isn't it pretty OBVIOUS with the pictures? A picture of a mic.. now what do you do witha a mic.. OH YEAH YOU SPEAK INTO THEM AND RECORD YOUR VOICE! THAT MUST BE SOUND IN! and whats the speakers... OH YEAH YOU LISTEN TO STUFF WITH SPEAKER! THAT MUST BE SOUND OUT!

... ok I need sleep (JAPAN TIME!?)
