Speck 13" retina case - snapped on first installation!

i bought a speck 13" retina case from the apple store in town and on the first installation one of the back corners on the base snapped off!!

will apple refund me?

I'm happy with mine also.
I know it's after the fact but I refer back to this video when I take it off and on for cleaning...

I'd try to take it back to the Apple Store - they do have a return window, even for products they don't manufacture - it's much like any other brick & mortar retailer that has a return policy for products they sell:

(If you're not in the US, I'm guessing it would still be similar)
