I need a new MBP case to replace my ailing Speck SeeThru Satin case. I've been very happy with it, and I would buy another one except for the fact that they're $35, and Amazon has a lot of alternatives that look really similar in the $10-$15 price range. I was just wondering if anyone has any good results with one of them, and some pictures to go along with it because the ones on Amazon are all stock photos, and it's hard to tell how they really look. I know I should just get another one, but if I can save $20 or so that would be great.

If your Speck case is under a year old it is under warranty and is eligible for a free replacement. I ordered my last case from Overstock, and while the quality was good I just felt that the Speck case was the better build and protection.

It's well over a year old. I had to replace it because the tabs were starting to break and it didn't fit as securely anymore. I actually ordered a new Speck case a little while ago because they have a 20% off promo. Got the style and color I wanted for the same price I'd pay on the limited options through Amazon. I decided that ultimately I wouldn't be happy with any of the other junk out there.

I agree. I took the cheap route and ordered a case off Overstock. Fine product but the air slits in the plastic were too big and too much of a scratch target. The tiny but efficient breather holes on the Speck make it a far superior product!
