Will post pics tonight, just noticed they left it when I was leaving for work this morning!

Quick thoughts:

I ordered the all black Speck Presidio Grip case for my Black iPhone 7 Plus because out of the ~20-30 different cases I had for my 6S Plus, I always loved using the Candyshell Grip. The way it felt in your hand was top notch, it fit flawless and really gave the iPhone something it could use, grip.

The Presidio Grip, in the 3 minutes I looked at it and snapped it on to my 6S plus, is a great evolution of that case. It does in fact seem thinner than the Candyshell Grip which is great, maybe even a little bit lighter. The biggest thing though, for me is that they got rid of that scratch prone glossy finish and it's not a nice matte finish that seems to be very scratch resisitant. The grip ribs are still super grippy and feel awesome in the hand. Case is tight and fits perfect on the 6S Plus (albeit for the different openings and camera), I'd imagine its just as nice on the 7 Plus.

I've always liked the Speck cases and the comfort feeling you get knowing your phone is protected, seems like they were able to keep that level of protection while making the case thinner and (in my opinion, much better looking). When the phone isn't naked, I think I may try to lose my case addition and alternate between the Presidio Grip and a Black Apple Leather Case.

Pics to come tonight!

I have been checking this one out for the past few days since I pre-ordered my iPhone 7 plus. I have a black Candyshell Grip for my iPhone 6 and the scratch is probably the most annoying issue, so I am very glad to see they get rid of that (I already suspect it when I see the rendering picture without gloss). Other than that, all I can complain is the dust between those ribs and some ribs are starting to get loose and fall off.
I think I will still go with this for 7 plus, not sure if I will get the all black or the gray one. Also the fact that you will probably find it half the price a few months later bothers me a little bit. :/

I have been looking at the Speck Presidio (non-grip version) and was wondering if the material was grippy or slick?

Very similar the the Otterbox Symmetry. Maybe a little more texture. Meaning not as much as the grip... but much more than the old Candyshell

Thanks for the reply and coupon code!
I have used the Candyshell in the past but returned it because it was too slick.

Thanks for the code, used it to get the Presidio Clear to go with the Grip version I got delivered yesterday.

I received the iPhone 7 Presidio Grip today.
The matte finish looks much better than the old Candy Shell. The grip is great when touching the rubbery grip edges, but the bottom matte plastic is slippery. I wish they put a few grip lines on the bottom as well.

I'm currently using an Incipio DualPro which provides great protection in a small case but I think the little bumpers lining the inside of the Presidio will offer additional shock protection.

The Presidio is also a few millimeters thinner than the DualPro. I don't have a way to measure it but having them both lie flat the Presidio appears to be 2mm narrower.

If you don't use the audio jack you can use it on the 6 until the 7 arrives, all the important holes line up and button position is identical.

How gray is gray in the Speck series. Hard to tell via online rendered colors...me thinks I might have to hit up a actual store to see the color

I was at Best Buy today and they had them all on display. To me it felt more slippery than not. I've had the candyshell on my 6 since day one and I thought it was a tad more slippery than that case.

Thanks for sharing that code. I ordered one of the glitter cases. :)

I stopped by BB on the way home. Was not feeling the texture of the Presidio cases myself - and I was 90% leaning in this direction.

I had CS on my 5. Incipio DualPro on 6 and subseqent 6S.
The Speck has a hard plastic/rubber finish. Not a fan. Lookwise, it's a bit more ~square~ than the Incipio as well.

The incipio has it's own flaws but I can live with them...

It looks great and all, and it's always EASY getting it in, but can anyone talk to how it is when you try on removing it? I remember the old Candyshell Grip for the 6s Plus felt like I had to use the Jaws of Life to get it out of the case.

I went by Best Buy this evening to look at this new case. I agree with you about not being a fan of the new speck cases for iPhone 7/7 plus. It's not worth it. The customer service rep at Best Buy said that the new speck design is based on the same idea as the tech 21. I don't care for tech 21 cases.

Received my Black/Black Grip yesterday for the 7 Plus, and not a fan. I think I will be returning it. I loved the Candyshell Grip I have on my 6 Plus, and was hoping the Presidio Grip would be the same or better. The feel and look of the Presidio Grip is very unimpressive. It looks like plastic and feels like rubber. Not a fan.
