Yeah it’s ok. Far from my favorite. What specifically would you like to know?

Is the red a soft silicone or a hard plastic?

Rather soft feeling back but case itself hard if that helps or makes any sense.

I don’t know if they’re better now, but I had a black one of these originally and volume buttons were SO stiff case was literally not useable. I went to B.B. to trade and had to go through all the my had and ref was only color they had with functional buttons. If you buy one from Best Buy or whatever plunk your phone in and try it out before you leave!

Edit: it’s personally of my least favorite Speck cases.

I think it’s great and surprised it is t talked more about on here. The silicone is very grippy so provides a great feel. I thought they would stain easily but the guy I know who has one cuts hair and with all the products he has on his hands all the time, it looks brand new. He has the gray one.

Mine isn’t extremely grippy

I’m curious how the black holds up, does the soft touch scratch up much or wear off ?

The regular Presidio and Candyshell cases by Speck are nice and protective withou adding too much bulk. I’ve dropped one many times without damage to my iPhone 6, so I ordered one for my X. Their standard cases have a hard shell that is actually nice to grip and slips easily in and out of jeans. I should add that it has never slipped out of my hand. All my drops were due to leaving the iPhone on surfaces that turned out to be bad decisions.

Don’t know about this particular case, but my speck hardshell cases have gotten a little scratched up over time, but still look good

The red presido sport was the first case I picked up for my X (while I had some other cases on order from Amazon). Looked fine and seemed pretty tough but the buttons were almost unusable.. I can one-handed double click on the side button in any other case, but it was impossible with the Presido Sport (at least mine was).

Yes their first batch must’ve been bad or something because first Sport I had included unusable buttons as well. Finally went to Best Buy and found one with amazing buttons.

So I got a black Presidio and this case is quite slippery! I imagine the Sport has similar texture (or lack thereof). It seriously reminds me of a nonstick cookware coating. Based on the online photos I thought it looked like the Presidio would have the same back as the Candyshell. I may return this for a Candyshell since I never found it to be very slippery. Other than the slippery texture, the Presidio is a nice case and I'm sur th Sport is as well. It fits well, th buttons all work fin, and it works with a wireless Qi charger.
