Just purchased speck MBP 13 shell from Apple Store.

I was searching around the Apple Store website and saw that they are now selling Speck MBP 13 shell case.

are you sure you got the right one because I can't find it on the apple store or the speck website
 
Occasionally the Apple Store gets products in before they are released. The Incase Hard Shell was like this for a couple of hours I had one before it was on Incase's website.
 
First off; please don't call a mac computer a mackie ever again. Second; it's a computer. No matter what you do, it'll get light scratches. I wouldn't waste the money personally.

Go to apple store website. www.apple.com
Go to Mac Accessories
Go to Bags and Notebook Cases

You will see it on the left side, 7th item from the top.

From there you'll find:
"Speck 13" SeeThru Case for MacBook Pro and MacBook"

edit*just called my local apple store and they don't have these so I guess its an online thing only so far

Most likely if it at the Apple website it should be available at your local Apple Store at the mall. But, I would call them first before making a trip to the store. Just to let you know, they are shipping now, ordered it day before yesterday and I should be getting tomorrow. You could save some money on shipping if you get it at your local store.
BTW, another company is selling them for the Macbook Pro 13, that link is, http://www.ipearl-inc.com/mcover-aluminum.html. They will run you about $19.95 + s/h. They also throw in a keyboard skin. Not a bad deal, I think.

New speck cases are on the speck website now for the new MBP 13" and are 50% off with the coupon devcamp50, if anyones interested.
 
Incase for 13" Macbook does not fit Pro

According to the tech at Mac, the Incase 13" for MacBook will not fit MacBook Pro...ports are in different places.

You are correct. My new uMBP 13" reflects this. It is really close but is perfect to me. All ports are able to be used using the Speck case. I totally recommend using this case for protection. I am extremely anal about my electronics and I'm 110% happy with my purchase. Hope this helps.

decided on the satin in red over the see-thru for the newest uMBP, and i love it! best part is that it still fits nicely with a total body kit from bodyguardz as well! :D if anyone would like pictures, i can upload some :).
