I bought my $30 speck skin at the Apple store on Friday when I bought my iPhone. I have the white one. Since Friday I have taken the cover off probably 5 times. It is already tearing in the botton left corner of the screen area. I thought these were more durable than that.
I have another case that I have arriving in the morning that I ordered last Wednesday from Apple, it is the black Belkin case. Hopefully it will be better.
I don't use the belt clip, I just take that off and slip the phone in my pocket.
