Hi,

I read somewhere that people speculated in that the new MBP´s actually can read and write BlueRay...

Could there be other functions in the new machines that will be releahed by SJ on monday? What would that be? What do you wish for? :) :)

Can't see it, but it would be a pleasant surprise.

Built in flash would seem more likely, but I can't see that either -- it's much more like Apple to say Leopard will support it but then add it to the next model, so those that want it have to buy new hardware... :)

personally I think it's a load of bull***** that the MBP can read and right Blu-ray. They would cost a lot more otherwise like £275 ($500) more. Plus it would show up in the system profiler surely?

I think we'll probably see bluray drives on the Mac Pro first and then an option for bluray drives on the MBP later on in the year or MWSF08.

Yeah, Apple just included 500 dollar Blu-Ray Drives in the MacBook Pro's and didn't even mention it in the specs.

Sorry, the MacBook Pro's will not have secret additions. THey have been updated, they are fine as they are.

WWDC is going to be about "Re-investments in desktops".

Not really... The (disabled) 802.11n chipset also did not show up in profile but it was present in the previous MBP's and iMac's. It, however, did show up in windows / bootcamp. So if you want to find secret features go search in bootcamp....

Yeah, I don´t think the BR rumor played out when further scrutinized. I can not see any obvious hiddens gems either but it would bee damn cool :)

Just find it interesting to see if more knowledgable people than myself actually could think of anything plausible...

you can pay a princely sum of £1.50 (or what, $3 in US) to enable wireless -n I believe, so its been there all along...
there may be other stuff but if it was 'class leading' you'd bet apple would make it a selling point. perhaps a fair chunk is leopard ready but we wont know until october...

The WWDC version of Leopard is supposed to be feature-complete, so we should know then... unless Steve's holding out on us :)

At a flick of a switch the pixels on the LED MacBook Pro will dissolve and reorient themselves into a different resolution!

1440 * 900... dissolves into 1 x 1.... reorients into 100000 * 1000000

AWESOME!
