Speculate on actual release date of the iPad 3

My guess:

Invites February 29th
Event March 7th
Release 5pm March 16th with these models:

$399 iPad 2 16GB
$499 iPad 3 16GB
$599 iPad 3 32 GB
$699 iPad 3 64 GB
Along with the +$130 for 4G models (but not for the iPad 2).

I'm on board with every one of your guesses. I really really want Apple to double storage so that the base is 32gb but I'm doubtful. I also want a 9am launch but I'm also doubtful on that one. 4 days til the invite!

Invites will go out on the 3rd of March ... Event on 7th...

- Cook said "look at the iPad 2 invite and maybe you'll get a clue" - The iPad 2 was a calender with a "March 2" - 2 = iPad 2... So March 3 = Invite for iPad 3

Thats my guess... - But it WOULD also make sense to send invite on a "special" day as the 29th
