I have a pc powered iMac and I'm looking for speech to text software. Of course all of the software that sounds really great, like macspeech dictate, needs an intel based machine.

    Any suggestions?

Not sure I've ever heard that one before...

    "PC powered Macs"... :p:rolleyes:

It's PowerPC. Speech to text is generally unreliable in any situation, you know.

Sorry that I don't know of any to try.

There was iListen and IBM Via Voice. Kinda old. I'd consider getting an Intel-based Mac 'fore one of them. This stuff needs a newer, fast processor.

...and gettting a newer machine is not withing my budget unless you want to sell me one at a fairly cheap price?
